So I've noticed that several people have purchased the 36" Carlton guide bar as well as I did. The deal on feebay had it come with a loop of .404 063 chain with 108DL but I had to remove 1dl to 107 because its initial use stretched it too far for the bar adjuster. Had my guy make me 3 loops of the new Oregon .404 skip and it works great.[emoji123][emoji123][emoji123][emoji123]

Are there aftermarket crank seals for a homelite 650? Thanks
Is it a 650 or Super 650?
If it's a Super 650 the flywheel side seal is 0.75" shaft and OD of 1.000" and width is a seal of 0.150" to 0.190"
That's common seal and is easy to find. Your bearing supplier should be able to find one easily.
The PTO seal has not been matched so you would have to find an Homelite 12306. I have looked extensively for a sub but have never come up with one.
If it's a 650 or 650E both sides should use a 12282A seal which crosses to an SKF CR6119.
650. It only has 4 AV mounts

I'm hoping some of you homelite gurus can help with this. I've got a super xl-922 that threw a ring and I'm looking at getting some new rings for it as the piston is still good(amazingly). This one has the 2.063" bore and the piston has the 1/16" thick rings. The xl922 ipl I have only shows the part number for the 2" bore and the xl925 used the thin rings. I think the right rings I need use part number 55537 which I know were used by the xl903, 923 & 924. Anyone have any good insight?

XL 923 68249 rings will work. I believe the 55537 is just an older version of the 68249.I'm hoping some of you homelite gurus can help with this. Those 68249 rings were another that I wasn't sure of. Definitely makes sense that they replaced the old part no. 55537. Thanks!

The 55038 is a 2" ring but the 913 and 923 are 2 1/16" bore. I don't have an IPL for the 913 as it was not a US Model.
The listed part number for the 923 is 68249
The part number for the older 903 is 55537
The difference in these two rings, which are both 2 1/16" rings, is the ring face. The 55537 is flat where the 68249 has a slight arc. Either will work.
I'm not sure where you found that 55038 was a part number for these models unless the Terry (Canadian) models did not follow the US bore size.
The difference in 55038 and 55038-1A could be the same as I mentioned above.

I just bought an XL-101 on Feebay for $46.It looks to be in great condition & complete.Looks like someone put a front handle on it that came off a 103,it's red.I should have it next week.
Picked up what looks to be a super clean 360 off eBay today. Not sure why other than it’s red and shiny. Paid way too much but oh well it’s worth it to have a nice example of a saw built around the time I was born.
The 360 showed up yesterday. Had to go out and clean the bench off to get some pictures. Ran on prime but needs the carb looked at so I didn’t mess much. Pulled out the Super Ez just for kicks.
So was the niche that the 360 was intended to fill, versus the SXL, a medium displacement saw with anti-vibe? Because otherwise the specs are very close. I see the 360 is piston port while the SXL is reed intake too.
Anti vibe and more RPM is my guess.
Speaking of the SXL. I pulled this box out from under the bench after taking those pics. It will make a nice Christmas present for my friend who dropped it off nearly a year ago. Need to turn the crank and bore the PTO housing to fit the metric crank seal then put it back together. 
I got the XL-101 & it has the damn epoxied oil tank on it.I put oil in it & there were no leaks at first,I went out to the shop today & had to move the saw & found a nice puddle of oil that had leaked out of it somewhere.It has spark (after finding out it had a bad plug) & it fired on a prime.It needs a new fuel line & filter & most likely a carb rebuild too.
