Homelite Super XL Auto Ignition Module

I have read many posts here and at some other sites and can't believe how freely so many of you are with your time and expertise. Kudos to you!

I have a Homelite Super XL Auto which needs a new ignition module. I bought it second hand many years ago and don't even know what year it was built.

Ser# 4D2590196

After going to some of the sites you folks have recommended Chain Saw collectors Corner and
mfgsupply.com I'm not really sure which part # I need.
I would like to get ahold of a shop manual also.

hello isee that you have a mod homelite ihave lots of parts for them ifparts from xl12s or super xls will help you and i would like to know if theres any tips you could give me for the super xl iknow the basics but ihere theres something in the timing that makes performance good idont know much about the older saws ihave a modifed 44stihl on alcohol and nitro but that different from the homelites ihope icould help you with your xl
