My dad was cleaning out the garage and found most of a Homelite XL 101. Knowing that I like saws, get gave it to me. It is missing the starter cover, handle, air filter, a/f cover, and muffler. It has a broken ring--that much I can see through the exhause port. I can't see any scoring on the rest of the cylinder through the exhaust port, but I haven't pulled the cylinder off yet.
My question is this: Given that I'll have to buy so many parts (even more if it needs a p & c), is this worth repairing? Or should I just sell it for parts?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
