That lil twig is a branch where you come from? Hell dude, lucky you don't come over here to fell trees then, you would poop your panties and run!

How we did it
Golf was right on the money. The trees that we were trimming were nowhere near where the branch ended up. They were indeed taller and actually downhill from where you see the branch. A combination of the wind, and also the wires moving up and down (due to falling limbs brushing them) caused the branch (twig) to end up where it did. There was never a big shot involved. The trees that were being trimmed can be seen to the left of the spruce on the right in the second pic I posted. Look closely.
