I've been lookin for a better way to rack my 2511t to my saddle. I hate how the stock clip is so loose and floppy. Half the time when I go to clip it on my saddle the clip folded in and needs to be pulled out again. I've been wondering if the "TransPORTER by Rock Exotica" would help. I want to put the handlebar into the transporter(the part of the handle bar that goes over the starter cover not the handle where the throttle trigger is).
I think it would be convenient if you could just could slap the saw into the transporter. It would also point the muffler away from your leg as well. I don't use a chainsaw lanyard so I can't just drop it and catch the rope. I don't think the 2511t can handle bouncing off trees day in and day out anyway on a lanyard. I don't like the idea of putting a carabiner on the stock 2511t clip. I remember buckin billy ray talking about modding the stock clip but can't find that video.
Just looking for other 2511t climbers approach to racking there saw to there saddle. Thanks all and the search function didn't offer ne help.

I use a lanyard and it helps keep the ring from folding closed. When the lanyard is off it's nowhere near as easy to rack. There are tabs to hold the ring open, but as you know they wear off quickly. I tried to flip the ring but couldn't get the air filter cover to close.
I'm using a rock Exotica transporter. It's definitely the best gear racking carabiner I've tried. A coworker uses a shembiner and likes it as well, although I prefer something more secure when I run a larger saw without a lanyard.
