How do your truck beds look?

Only thing I don't like with the plastic liners is they are usually slippery as heck. Things slide all over the bed.
No more slick than the painted steel factory floor , you'll need a sheet of wood in both to keep stuff from moving.

I've never seen the point of the spray in liners for people that really use their trucks..they offer no protection and cost several hundred bucks.

A rubber mat on a drop-in liner works pretty good. No slip unless you wanna slide something in, pull the mat out and wah lah!

I've never understood a factory bed for a truck that is always hauling. A flatbed is better in every way. Larger, stronger, easier to load. Pretty much no reason for a tin can factory bed.

The spray in bedliner does help a ton keeping the tin can beds together. All the newer trucks I used in the Air Force where bedlined, obviously someone was able to justify it for the Air Force to spend 10s of thousands bedlining the whole fleet.

Put flatbed on about 6 months ago as factory bed was beyond repair. So far I agree with Ironworker as I'm liking it better in every way, especially with the sides I just made.

Our 2015 ram was a month old and we threw a log on the back and collapsed the wheel well

Can't expect much else from a bed that is barely thicker than a beer can! I put a shovel right through the wheel well on the 95 3500 Dodge I had!

Sorry Valley Firewood it would be you that I agree with that the flatbed is a much handier tool than factory bed.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Glad to see mine isn't the only one that shows some wear. Truck is an 03 and doesn't owe me a dime. I don't see in putting in liners, plywood, mats, etc to keep the dents out when they just keep the moisture in. I take pride in knowing I earned those dents and waves in the bed.

I had the factory bed liner in my 02. When I pulled it up it was scuffed and rusty and as other said everything went all over denting the bed. Scuffed it down , cleaned it and sprayed a 2 part epoxy liner with rubber in it and problem was solved.
