A certain supplier of mine quoted me great prices on chainsaw parts and I leaped at the opportunity.

Get the invoice and they charged me retail. Much higher than what was quoted on the phone. (I will not comment further since they read these posts)

Anyway supplier said they need to see me as an "authorized dealer" from other manufacturers.

So who is an easy manufacturer to get licensed from? Husky?
Stihl? Brown&Wiser? Cannon? Laser?

If you are a legitimate business, and provide them with a corporate identity, registered DBA,
state business license or sellers certificate, they should be happy. If they won't, I would find a different supplier.

Gave them a resalke DB and tax ID #

they want the agreements from companies like Stihl and Husky in order to get dealer prices. I am not gonna give them copies of items like that. It is non of their business what competitors I use to get other supplies.

I am not talking about a hundred dollar order, the order is in the thousands and what irks me the most is how it was handled.

Call them up give em my customer order. Tell them what I need they tell me price and availability.

Then I get the invoice and the price is DOUBLE what was quoted on the phone.

Call them up and they said SORRY prices quoted at the wrong price grid for you so we changed it on the invoice.
"If you don't like it send the crates back to us. "

This is a poor business practice.
