Need to change your name to "Gotsomestihls" :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

I have all three of the PNW brands Stihl, Stihl and Stihl. I have two old Mac tryin to get runnin. Seriosly true lack of nearby dealer support keeps me in the Stihls. Within 25 miles there are two husky shops that specialize in lawn equipment. My Stihl dealer sell Chainsaws, nearly any size bar bought 41" from stock,Square ground chain by loop or roll even the pleasant young gals that work there know what square ground is, stocks parts for saw of all sizes never had to order a part, corks, arborist supply's, axes etc logger jeans hickory shirts aluminum hard hats Stihl trimmers blowers some generators and wood stoves. Primarily a true saw shop. When husky steps up maybe Ill give like a 346 to my wife to try one. So Until I get a saw shop closer than 50 miles I will continue to be biased. Sorry husky guys you think we jest about hukies out here yes there are shops like Madsens that carry them 80 miles away but at least they carry everything up to the 3120. My Stihl dealer is 12 miles away in town where we do most of our shopping and kid activities. always has 441,460,660, and most of the time an 880 in stock.

Naaaaaaaaaaaa red and black look good in the shed, see them Dolmars, plenty of red and black there for me. Spike is gonna sell me on of those new 346's when he gets them in, I'm very curious about that saw, the Jewel(5100) is hungry for that thing, hehe

You gotta just LEARN TO SAY NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unbiased myself:
015 Stihl (anyone have the small choke lever? lost mine in the woods)
2 Husky 346's
540 Homey
CS 302 Echo

How do you like the 372? I'm debating btw 372 and the 7900. Well debating and trying to figure out how to get that purchase past the wife.

Welp from using them both I can tell you flat out the 7900 will walk on past that 372 in the cut, be small wood or big wood and it should, the 7900 is a bigger saw cc wise but weight wise I think its about the same as the 372, not sure but they are close. Big issue with the 7900 seems to be lack of dealers around the country but since your on the site your in luck. Cuttinscott and 166 are a great Dolmar dealer. If I ever need anything for mine they are who I'm gonna call. So if your wanting a fast cutting saw and like this site the 7900 and Cuttinscott/166 to back you up are mighty hard to beat. Take note the 372 is a runner as well but its just not big enuff to handle that 7900. If your flavor is Husky then the 372 is right up your alley.

That's not unbiased, that's CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

get with the orange/white program... or stay home.:newbie:

I sound more like Mow every day...

I'm not biased. I buy the most popular and well supported saw in my geographical location. Is there anywhere else? :givebeer:

Ive got 2 Stihls, 2 Huskys, a Jonsered, a Dolmar, and a couple old saws, namely a homelite and a Mac.
The only saw I ever had I didn't like were Poulans.
I have gotten rid of a poulan woodsman (yah right) and a poulan pro.
they were total crap, started to fall apart the second you started them up.

At least you're not confused by the pull-ons...;) ;) ;)

Why in the hell does anyone want a bunch of mixed up bastard crap? Over the past 23 years I have used one brand. Stihl. Now Stihl has came out with a cheapo homeowner line of saws . It makes me sad.
