Why in the hell does anyone want a bunch of mixed up bastard crap? Over the past 23 years I have used one brand. Stihl. Now Stihl has came out with a cheapo homeowner line of saws . It makes me sad.

Stihl came out with the line 12+ years ago!

After purchasing a brand spanking new Husqvarna 372 xp last week it dawned on me I now have all three major brands, Stihl, Dolmar and now Husky. To prove beyond any doult here is the bias free Thall fam -o -lee,hehe..

Theres my proof, Dolmars, Stihl's and Husky. Lets see your proof fellers that your not bais when ya yaking brands..

i noticed your timberbear. how has she performed? recently purchased a 2nd hand one from an older gentleman looking for a smaller saw and have only burnt a tank of fuel. anything to watch for?

My dads old timber bear still runs like a champ, I used it a few weeks ago to clean up some storm damaged cotton wood. I believe it was the last descent Mac they ever built. Parts are tough to find but if you take care of it, it will take care of you. BTW, a few bars and at least 20 chains is about all my dad has ever put into his, it even still has the stock spark plug.

I guess I'm a little biased. It's not on purpose though. I started out using Stihl, then I handled a few Husky's and they seemed to fit me better. I don't think one brand is better then the other. I just use what's comfortable to me!
