I failed to see a barber chair. I did see someone try to fell a tree with a dull chain, against the lean, without wedges, on a windy day and it end up sitting back on his bar TWICE and then falling exactly opposite of the face cut. Surprise surprise. If I had done that, my pride would have prevented me from making it public.

When i first got a saw and was hungry for knowledge, i spent a lot of time looking at how other folk did it on youtube. You certainly have to separate the wheat from the chaff. There are some real cocks submitting dangerous techniques and claiming they`re experts.
This bloke not only puts his own stuff up, but spends a lot of time giving advice to others.
For a novice like myself its potentially dangerous.

Theres also some very good stuff on there: Tim Ard, progressive farmer, seems knowledgeable, as are the vids from folk on this site.
