How to measure clutch wear? Bogging down in the cut - MS 290

Put your sprocket over the clutch and see if there is any side to side slop.

Harley, will an ms 440 clutch fit on an 036 pro?
I have changed bearing and clutch drum from 044 but not the

I know my ms290 doesn’t like to be pushed. Just have to let it cut. Also make sure the motor is tuned up good. That will solve a lot of problems

Same with my 290. My 461, I can lean into it as hard as I can and it still cuts. With the 290, keep the chain sharp and show some patience.

I have an ms250 parts saw but idk and or doubt that clutch would work for you
