You might want to also look into renting a Ryder truck. Other than that, I'd say going after work with your truck might be the cheapest route.

Also, check to make sure the wood isn't rotting where its laying on the ground...

I have too agree. Either a Ryder or U-Haul truck or trailor or both! Then get it all in one go. You can sometimes get daily rentals for as little as $19.95 local plus fuel on U-Haul trucks.

For whatever reason, the Ryder trucks I believe are rated higher than the uhauls.

I'm not telling you to this, but the large Ryder will carry 15,000 lbs. It actually carries it well when the load is properly distributed. Don't ask how I know... :dizzy: Then again, I've had well over 6 tons in the back of my 2500 Ram/Cummins a couple of times. :monkey:

Might be worth that $4 for gas and hour of time to go check it out after work. If you don't know how much wood there, then this is all just a guessing game.

That and you can make a lot of trips with your truck at $4 a gallon for gas for what a rental would cost you. You might see if you can find a smaller trailer that you could pull with your truck. I had a 4cyl S10 that was rated for a 2000lbs trailer.

you still have to fuel up the ryder truck plus the rental fee,a few trips in your truck may be cheaper............call a few buddy's with trucks make one trip the help will load it faster
