that's cool...
do you climb and rig? operate a sc252? better at tree sales or tree work?

i'm having a tough time with employees this week. they all started moonlighting with the hurricane coming. pisses me off. i'm going to run to Publix and Wal-mart in about an hour. the stockboys are out around this time and i'm going to try and employ some new groundies.

I have had the spikes on a few times, been in a bucket, done a little rigging, great skills on the ground, dependable and trustworthy. Much rather work than sell. Never used stump grinder but graduated college, remember my plays on the field, remember snap count, basically show me once i get it. I will pm my cell

tackel you wanna sell that 9 inch chipper? you dont need it man your thumb is broke. Sales is most challenging part of this business but I no longer chase storms.Just as well move to um i recon.

Even if it doesnt get any larger sustainable wind over 50 mph will cause alt of damgae to coastal ga coastal sc area, guys that way have been lion tailing live oaks to force the trees into an overmature appearance for years. they have been exploiting thier structure and not them trees are just waiting on that kinda wind to break out.

This is not good

Calling Marathon Key..... VHarrison, you out there???

The storm broke apart over Cuba last evening and night, reformed as a smaller storm, but it grew and organized overnight. It's going to knuckle you square in the jaw within hours. It will be a long day for you. Hang in there, Girl. If you don't pipe in we know it may be because you've lost power, are dealing with emergencies or have been evacuated.

We will be thinking about you all day.

lol.
if that hits the keys there's going to be 2,000 tree guys on an island 3 miles long. guaranteed to see a fight break out every 100 yards.

Are you going to SC or staying in South Florida? Oh and if the price is right i am always willing to sell. But i would like to meet you before i do business, but am interested in putting the chipper to work. Do you have a safe place to keep the chipper if i were to bring it down here?
I am on west side of clear lake, near congress, palm beach lakes blvd.

i'm going wherever it goes. i have a fenced in private yard in Broward all year round or could keep it inside my garage if it fits. i also have family and places to stay in Naples, Orlando, and Daytona. crossing my fingers.

Did you get my PM? I sent you my cell #. Call me

Treemachine,
you marked Key Largo... Marathon is located alot more SW than your "X". VHarrison is probably sandbagging right now. they are only inches above sea level and the news showed it was flooded already from all the rain.
like i said... there will be thousands of lawn jockeys and treeguys on those little tiny islands fighting over scraps. we have way too many tree people down here.

Treemachine, you are right, that x is marking Key Largo. Marathon is in the middle of the keys. Not sandbagging yet, Key West may be flooding, but so far, so good here. But then, we have only seen one band of rain so far.
Ya know, the only tree people that came down here after the storms last year were working for FEMA and just doing trash pickup. We were grateful they were here, pretty cool sitting at a traffic light and seeing 3-4 other tree companies.

last season in S. Florida, there were guys racing with stumpgrinders going house to house. one on each side of the street. imagine that. so many tree guys saturated in one area that they literally are falling over eachother to get work. sux.
