I have a carb issue on my husqvarna 246.
The saw is lightly ported and muffler modded, and I have replaced the stock walbro hda98 to a hda159 (EPA version of hda154) from a husky 350 because of bigger venturi. I've already done the swap on my 242xp (this was a hda154) with great success, but the 246 just wouldn't take the new carb.
The saw dies at low rpm and will not respond to the low jet adjustment. I first tried a jused carb, but have also tried a brand new carb today and they both have the same issues. The saw runs fine with the old carb. I use the choke and throttle axle from the hda98 when do this swap.
Anyone have a solution on my problem?
