I got one of those bars on a 5000 once, I put the bar on a 500 though. I thought they were pretty neat bars with a personal touch from your N.S. area.
So thats where my green stuff goes to grow.

S.C. AWESOME You've taught me a whole butch in just those few pics/videos. I've been taking timber off my property for the last 3 yrs. Pine, goes for osb. If I could work as fast as you, if I could be as efficient ---- Now please don't think this ques. silly, I'm a newbie at logging (at 60 yrs. old), but how do you get that tape to release? Once, and if, I get the tape to stay put, it stays put.

Thanks again, great pics.

Hi ents, that tape is so old it is easy to release ( most of the time it comes off when I don't want it to ). It is going to get a new refill tomorrow. If they are worn and release too easily, just wrap an elastic around the wedge part and they work great. When new it takes a hard tug to get them let go. I took another video doing a bore cut thru the notch on a big poplar but the memory card ran out of space. I can post what I have of it if you want.
