Haste makes waste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I pull the jug, muffler and carb as one piece on the 350.... ...yes way easier than a stihl
boy aint that the truth... I use 2 pliers on that thing.... eventually I figured out a set of linemans pliers does the trick...brute force, simple as that
The steel clamp for the intake is a real bear for me. It was hard the first time, next time harder, next time even harder, last time I tried about 10 times before it finally went together!
I've never tried the 350 intake trick. Is it possible to use a hose clamp, I think I've seen some narrow ones..
I use a pair of adjustable channel lock pliers on the metal clamps and it's super easy. Just snap it together.
SHhhhhh....ancient Sweeeeedish secret. The younin's won't get it, but I know you're old enough Don.
Doesn't Stihl use a narrow screw type clamp on some of their saws? I think maybe an 028?I tried many times to find narrow hose clamps for some other job and gave up.
