I hate to admit this but i raced a 350 with my 455 in 15" wood
both chains sharpened by myself the 350 was running 325 the 455 3/8 carlton full chisel
the 350 was almost the same age as the rancher and run in!
same tree cut in half and i was taking the end that gets thicker
i was cutting off 1.5 to 1.75 blocks for evey one the 350 did
it could just have been the operator
next time we go out im taking the 036 should be 4 to 1 then!!!!!!!
Who was the weasly nasal voice in the video
Haha, I thought it was a someone talking on helium :blob6:
For less money, a pound less, and about .1hp less, you own a 350.
Not a fair test, 3/8 cuts faster than .325 every time. Also the 455 has more cc's and "X-TORQ!" It should be faster.

350 cost £350
455 cost me £267 delivered from canada
Well I have to admit I would get the 455 too if it was 100 bucks cheaper, at least if my only other choice was a 350. Luckily I have a Dolmar dealer in town

hmmmm....
your a sneeky rabbit arent you.
you really dont think a "stock" 026 can run with a "stock" Husky do you?
Ok so here goes i nabbed a 55 from the local dealer today and put her str8 to work and I have a question compared to my old ms290 this is supposed to be a smaller saw but the same class both homeowner saws and firewood saws.
But to me the husky seems to grab on to the rpm in the cut better and then hold them better. It sounded to me like it revved higher. It handled the 18"er with a smile like it was meant to eat wood. Sorry I know it is a lot of questions but this was my first husky experience and I was dumbfounded how totally different this saw ran than a stihl.
Well, the 026 is the only model that can't cut cookies with a 346 stock for stock.
Now what it can do is last several years, cut lots of wood, parts are very easy to get, and support is just down the road.
Now when that 346 can keep it's muffler on, last several years, cut lots of wood, and parts can be found easy, it can earn the respect the 026/260 has. Until then, you use your 346 and I'll stick with a proven design.
btw, you might want to loctite all your screws.....
allright... whats with that stihl lasts longer than husky crap
I didn't even have to say it.:hmm3grin2orange:
