well i loctite everything, comes from so many years of racing and wrenchin'.
dont matter to me because ill prolly never get than many on the saw. i only use it for limbin', cutting a few cookies and spankin' 5100's and 026/260's.
So many years of wrenchin and racing? Did I read your age wrong?
Spankin 5100's and 026s? Care to put some $$$ on that?

Get some more run time on that 346 and let me know. With that type of cutting my stock 026 would laugh, no need to get the other boys.
Move that left foot like the Doo glue man and bust a move, in a smooth way.
why would i need more run time? if all you got is a stock 026 i wouldnt even have to get the saw out of the truck.

You don't hear much from the dolmar owners cause they know what's up. There are a few of us that like to praise them when we can. I think I'm going to send my 5100 and 026 to 2000Sm so he can some over and let you run them to shut you up.

Chain saw Dummy Question
I have 4 saws, a 180,sthil, 2137 jr,sacks/dolmar117,038sthil, they are all good saws I think,.Iam lookin to buy a bigger saw with at least a 24in bar a 30, in bar wood be better,. Iam a chain saw DUMMY, and no one needs to tell me sompthing I already know, Ive read every post for the last ten pages, Iam not trying to (STIR) the pot in anyway, but I didnt get a whole lot of Imfo on the sthil verses huskey comparison, from reading everyones posts,..Iam sure I missed some points that wood help me decide what saw is best but to much mines better because its better,. stuf, Ive been in the repair buisness for over 40 years, but no experince in repairing 2 cyc engines,. I got the basics, and know one thing about the 2 cyc engine is that the carb adjustment is critical,.and alota preformance (FEELING) is determined by the setting of the carburator, I get a different (feeling) from time to time running the same saw, Iam wondering what you all think wood be the best model,.. and brand, to buy for a pro, 30 in bar application,. I said pro because I want a comercial duty saw,.And, I will be buying USED,..Thanks, Eric
