thanks for the advice. im sure ill never be the sawyer you are. i was not going for speed. just trying to be consistant and show relative cutting ability. didnt want to overload the saw with chips and have some wanab cry foul.

Cool video - I am really impressed by the amount of PPE!!!!!!! :greenchainsaw:

Haha, now how did I know you was going to say that. Yes I always keep 2 PPE in my wallet for those uhhhhh specail moments, hehe

Naaa fact is your right I should promote PPE and at the store I do. Out behind the barn though, sawing a stationary block of wood in the clear, to me there's no big need for it. Mind ya now thats just my opinion for me. There are many outthere wearing PPE that have no business with a saw at all, trust me I know, I deal with many everyday.

Whatcha think Sawtroll, do those saws cut or what. That 7900 is a hummer aint it. That 880 is just starting to wake up. I gotta get some more runtime on that saw and give Hoss another run or raise prices on his hide,LOL

Keep that saw level and just let it cut man, the saw will do the rest. That 346 of yours sounded to be abit 4-stroking, meaning you either aren't keeping constant and even pressure on it or it needs to be turned up just a tad more. Just a tad, don't be leaning it to the max.

Me, I'm not a sawyer. I've been playing with saws for 39 years now. I do have a nack for making smooth cuts though. Comes from all that doo glue in my hair,LOL

Far as all the non-sense about speed and stopwatches and blah blah blah I say who the hell cares, just give me sharp chain, a good running saw and some wood and I'm happy,

Sawwitch wouldnt be impressed!

Mrs.SawWitch and me have a fine relationship thank you. You my friend have no clue how I impress Mrs.SawWitch,haha.

SawTroll you did not see any of the above, you just thought you did,:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Well dayumm it to hell don'tcha know you never go before the camera with a cold saw, dayumm man I would fire your director,LOL

Tommy Im building a copy of the MS180 when its done I'll ship it to ya to try out...............:) :)

.

Cool, I'll call the film crew and get the place set up. After slicing off a few pancakes I'll givem to SlingBlade, I can hear him now, mmm, good bsicuts, got any musturd, mmmmmm,LOLOL

Now when that 346 can keep it's muffler on, last several years, cut lots of wood, and parts can be found easy, it can earn the respect the 026/260 has. Until then, you use your 346 and I'll stick with a proven design.

btw, you might want to loctite all your screws.....

well i loctite everything, comes from so many years of racing and wrenchin'.

the 346, i got 4 or more husky dealers within 30min. of the house and Tony is only a phone call away and i dont have to burn my diesel up at $3.45/gal..

will the Husky outlast the stihl or be in better shape after 2000 hours?

dont matter to me because ill prolly never get than many on the saw. i only use it for limbin', cutting a few cookies and spankin' 5100's and 026/260's.

:givebeer:

hee, hee, i noticed you didnt.

ill learn!

See whatcha gotta do is fire them saws up and letem warm up abit. Then turn on the camera so they fire right up and never miss a beat baby. Then ya gotta comb ya doo man,LOL
