The replacement allen head bolts I got with the flatter head worked great on my 154, melting and flattening the knot with my soldering gun...not so much.

FWIW I lit it with a long neck cigarette lighter and kind of let it smolder for 30 seconds. Then I flattened it with a screwdriver.

I have found a few Husky saws with bad plastic recoil pulleys and all had too thick ropes.
