Hey guys,

I need a Husqvarna 359. The chain doesn't need to move at all, but I do want to be able to "rev the engine" as they say lol. It needs to make noises and smoke.

I need it for a low price also. I can't afford much. I can trade some high quality horror movie replicas. I have Leatherface masks, freddy glove, costumes, and jason hockeymasks. These are NOT the same crap from halloween stores, it is much better. I can make costumes as well that are "movie quality." I'm working on a Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) costume, which is why I want the Husqvarna 359.

I would also be okay with working out a deal on one that is completely broken and doesn't move.

Please email [email protected] if you want pictures of the props, or have a low price (I believe the MOST I'll go for is $125). You guys may be thinking I'm crazy, but maybe I'll catch some luck.

Hey guys,
It needs to make noises and smoke.

The smoke will come from the excessive amount of oil in your 2-cycle mix. Saws don't burn oil in the same sense as a 4-cycle engine (like some worn-out hoopty). Not being a fan of slasher films (I did see the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre back in the 70's), I hate to say this but I missed the 2003 edition of that classical :hanging live people on meat hooks and cut them up. Did they actually use a 359 in that movie?this would be a chainsaw trivial pursuit game question.

To make perfect noises simply have the mufffler modded.

Why a 359, wouldn't just about any saw do?

Btw, I believe this tread belongs in the "trading post", or whatever it is called........

They used a Husqvarna 359 in the 2003 edition and a Poulan 245a in the 1974 classic.

I bought a Poulan 306a which is really close to the 245a. I'm happy with it. ;) I'm pretty sure they repainted a 245 yellow for the movie, or they bought a Sears model. They taped over the "POULAN 245A" logo to avoid copyright laws. I've heard they repainted it john deere yellow. If someone has a Poulan 245 and wants to make it into the TCM version, I'd LOVE to help you out.

I can also help if you have a Husqvarna 359 that you want to make it accurate, I got LOADS of pictures and I know the exact paint to buy.

I got tons of pictures of these chainsaws, so maybe I can help someone out!

Just email [email protected] if you want some pictures of the Husqvarna 359 or the Poulan 245a in both films. :bang:

Oh man, I'm real sorry. If it needs to be moved then mods please do so. :D

Jig-

I have an old Sears "electric" 16" chainsaw that is perfect for your needs. You can run a couple of extra wires off the on/off switch, hook them to whatever part of your body you chose, and give your self a real kick every time you are in the chainsaw mood.

This will also probably allow you to look just like the guy in the chainsaw movies!

Just paint it orange and put 359 on the sides, nobody will be the wiser.
