I have to put the halves in the over so should I leave out the oil line till just before I put them togeather, also do you think the cranks seals are fine at 200 in the over?
The oil line goes in easily after the halves are put together. Just make sure the alignment pins are in place as you install the flywheel tapered end into the left half. I wipe the mating surfaces with alcohol before I stick it in the oven.

Make sure that the oven is completely preheated before you put the case halves in. Once the case halves are in I turn off the oven.

I have a similar thread with additional comments on the Huztl 440 kits. I am at a standstill waiting for the throttle linkage and a 52mm cylinder kit. I am insisting that they send a replacement flywheel too. The inner threads in the flywheel hub for flywheel removal are covered by the flywheel material (photo).

I also have some comparison of the kit cylinder to a used OEM cylinder.

Also picture of the rim sprocket.

Anyone know what size the crank case bolts are, there is no bag of five, so idk which ones are for crank halves.

Thanks so much! Really helping me right now. Once I get the base built I should be good to go, I am not splitting the cases so I want to make sure everything is right.

I did measure the squish with the cylinder that came with the kit. It was more than the 0.038 inch solder without the base gasket so with the base gasket the squish is more than 0.038".

I am going to delete the base gasket on mine.

Update, they gave me the wrong retaining clips for piston pin, to small, I am gonna go online an order a new set that actually fits, so far the only thing that isn't right. But I am not that far in, hopefully everything else is good

Cases went together okay, I had to use the screws to pull them together but took little force and worked in a cross pattern sucked right up, does anyone know the torque for case bolts. Also I nailed the crank centering, she is right between both halves, extremely happy this step worked out.

No blistering on the paint, I had it at 220 just long enough to warm up then took them out, the crank centered great and was pleasantly surprised at how accurate i was! the bearing and crank spin nice and free. I have only found one missing part so far, the little o ring that goes on the end of the oil pump, and the undersized piston pin retaining clips, other than that okay so far.

Why don't you ask if the two threads can be combined. It does not matter who's names on it. Many of us are going to wind up with these and it will be much easier to help and enjoy than two or more threads. If it can be done I would think the OP of either or would need to ask them to do it.
