The $200 dollar budget limits your choices
As far as what I'll be using it for goes it's mostly going to be felling 12"-24" dead trees and cutting firewood.
24" standing I would be looking in the 60cc range. I own an 026 its a great saw but for that size wood I would grab a bigger saw first. You won't care about the weight when you have the grunt behind it.
Used of course.if thats what the negative was about.Right now if you could up your limit a $100 an echo cs590 timberwolf would fit in at 59.8cc.still homeowner in a pro built saw.reliable as all get out and with simple modification can hang with the best.
The only thing the pro's stick to stihl or husky.I can personally say i have took my CS600 halfway to hell and back without muffler restrictions and a base gasket and it still starts 2nd pull with nearly 180lbs of compression.I have logged and i have grubbed and i have Stumped. In other words I have came I have sawed I have conquered.
Sure it does. But what fun would this be if I could just go slap down $700 on a new saw?The $200 dollar budget limits your choices

I'm sure most of you guys have been in my shoes.
Some good prices in your area on used saws. Something to be said for being able to talk to the seller and get input from others in one place vs feebay or craigslist. Find that users here are much more forthcoming about problems or issues. And you can get help to fix the problems too.Not my saws:

In your price range even after shipping. Of course, it would be nice to buy from some established dude on this forum.
