For some Stihl is the magic word. I see quite a few (well, for chainsaws in Houston that is) used MS290s listed for very near the cost of a new one.

This listing has shown up periodically for many months, probably for over a year (I forget when I first saw it). You'd think that by now the seller would realize that the asking price is Way Too High (to be fair OBO is mentioned). With that said, if I had something for trade that the seller might be interested in, based on the ad, I'd contact them.
