I work for a MFG factory and was given this when we were cleaning out an area, it is a custom made work bench that was made for us;

- Drawers are roller bearing and all have adjustable inserts to organize each drawer
- Over 1" thick solid wood table top
- Built in power strip
- Built in dry erase board & adjustable shelf
- Everything is made of heavy duty material, metal, aluminum
- Adjustable Fluorescent light with 3 T8 bulbs
- Everything is adjustable from the light, to the shelves, and the drawers

It is very very heavy duty and built like a tank, it easily weighs over 250 pounds and took me and 4 other guys to move it into the garage. The top part separates from the bottom for transportation, this costs thousands of dollars and I am asking a fraction of the price. I have to move and it makes no sense to take it with me, would work for anything & any type of need you can throw at it.

It was a joke saying ReggieT likes them, he post one about every week.
I'm all set for wood and that would be a long drive for me lol.
ah - my comments were as much to the ad itself. So, this guy got one of those free estimates, and choked at the price. the tree guy decided to have fun with him maybe, after declining to take the tree down for it's "highly valued lumber"?

Solid looking 61 for $75 in Peterborough kijiji. If I lived any closer I would be posting in the "you suck!" Thread!

Believe me it's all in jest...I use to respond to them yrs ago...now I have more than enough wood & access to more with less labor, deviants, sociopaths or great sorrow/regret...one rather portly lady wanted me to "Slop her hogs" o_O& etc,etc for taking down a 15 ft dead tree she said was free!!!:baba:

Hmm...a buddy of mine wishes he had passed on a "Highly Valuable" pecan tree last week...the guy wanted to ride with him to the mill after he dropped it to see how much he was gonna profit from his "Highly Valuable Pecan Tree!"...when he told him he was going burn some & sell the rest to restaurants...he became insanely mad & borderline hostile!
Of course when my bud commenced to show him his "Highly Valuable .40 Glock"...he starting acting like civilized folks again!
Amazing what a attitude adjustment an "old shooting iron" can produce!!! LOL:laughing:

Reminds me of a guy I picked up hitchhiking. Big guy, asked me what was wrong with me picking someone up on that side of town. I said Iwould hope someone would stop for me if it was raining regardless of where I was at. He proceeded to tell me he could kill me.
I laughed and told him I was the one with a seat belt on and the steering wheel in my hand. The rest of the ride was pretty quiet :surprised3:.

Wow!
That's NUTZ!
Smooth way to handle that.

Where did you dispose of him...er, I mean let him off at? :p

I agree, sometimes we are blessed with the right words is all I have to say. I will be the last to say that I am the most eloquent with words or anything for that matter.
I will say I don't usually get to shaken up by threats. I'mmore concerned about the people that just do it. I think that takes a lot af the stress of your mind and helps you to think clearly, it still doesn't always come out like I would hope.
