Don't ask questions, go buy that saw. That a good deal for a lightweight limbing saw if you don't work it too hard.
Cost to put some starter rope on it? Couple of bucks.

That Craftsman looks more like a 3400 or 3800 Poulan (which would make it a 3.4 or 3.8 Craftsman). The Poulan Thread consensis is that Sears didn't sell the 4000.
