That Craftsman/Roper is pretty clean and seems complete. Someone just got it for about $30.00 total.

I never saw that 3.7 on ebay. It does look like it was a nice saw, and someone really did get a good deal on it. I've got this thing for Ropers, too bad I missed seeing it.

They spelled Stihl wrong! Maybe gone, maybe not? I am starting a new business and moving, so my huge loss on these if they're still around!

That saw most certainly has the best looking filter cover I have ever seen.

Roanoker, Yeh they made metal tanks, I have some also, usually came on early 038 AV. Swaps to any year, and very nicely made tanks. I saw these parts too, the guys got some decent parts.

Unbelievable if they're lightly used for that kind of $$$. Someone is getting one helluva deal!
The thing is that the saw you speak of is the only one for sale in the entire world right now. So he is finding out how badly somebody wants one.
