I like the looks and would love to have it. Just would like to know the answers to my questions...
I'M NOT A MECHANIC SO I CAN ONLY TELL YOU WHAT I KNOW ABOUT THE SAW. . .THE HEAD IS IN GREAT SHAPE . . . EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE THERE TO PUT IT BACK TOGETHER EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING THAT I NOTICED. . . NEEDS NEW 52MM PISTON, SPARK PLUG WIRE THAT GOES ON END OF COIL, THE OFF KILL SWITCH, AIR CLEANER AND 2 BAR NUTS. . . .IF YOU GOT A EXTRA 52MM PISTON AND WORST CASE A CRANK AND FEW EXTRA PARTS LAYING IN THE SHOP YOU WOULD HAVE A VERY EASY FIX TO GET THIS BAD BOY RUNNING. IT IS IN GREAT SHAPE . . .
So, he's no mechanic but he can tell you that it is in great shape, even though it is torn up and torn down after only a week's use? Why? How? Who? Was it because the saw was a
'bad boy'?
And it does not need anything.
Except a piston (except he does not seem to know what size, anywhere between 40 and 60 mm seems in the ball park).
And a spark plug wire (who pulls these off of a working saw?).
And a kill switch (ditto).
And an air cleaner.
And 2 bar nuts.
And
maybe a crank ? (which everybody has laying around).
And 'a few extra parts laying in the shop' (which? how many?).
And a bar and chain, which he seems to not have noticed.
'Should' be an easy fix after that.
This is a saw, excuse me, a collection of saw parts in questionable shape, that I would want only if I had a bunch of similar saw parts to combine with. And I would want it for a whole lot less than it is going for.
