These babies help make the margins as well as the rescue saws. On that table is $13,000 worth of eqipment, all sold and one sale. Wood saws are fun, great to fuss over but when it comes to turning margins and doing it quick I'll take the fire company saws anytime..

'Yes, Bar Oil, which is referred to on the front cover of the manual for goodness sake. You don't even have to open the thing.'
:chainsaw:

This reminds me of a line from an old movie:

"Hey, where did you learn to shoot like that?"
"I read a book, it came with the gun."

We all yak about saws and jaw back and forth. I wanna show you my favorite saw of all, only $1400.00 apiece. I love these saws more than any other because when you sell one of these you make a good bit of money and also these saws may well save someones life someday. Checkem out. Those 4 are sold.
Are those the 460 rescue saws? Evan

You be on the money there, they are 460 Rescue saws. All the equipment on that table will be used in and around Washington DC. You may well see one of them one nite on TV ripping open a burning building or sawing someone out of a crushed car.

Out of college I was working in the woods, I made up a whole 100' reel of Oregon chain at the shop for the landing saws.
A new knot bumper was hired and a few days later all the chain was gone. I thought someone stole it until I walked over the bank of the landing and seen what looked like a chain graveyard.
The new guy - thought that once it got dull it was trash so he hucked the chains over the bank after he dulled them.
Lots of filling was had after that.

Then will you brag to everyone you know how you sold them those saws that saved the people? Evan

That's nice. Is it a picture, calendar, somethin else? And who's Perry?

Evan

Its a picture the fire cheif had made for us. He put it in a thick frame and brought it by one day and said thanks. Perry is the outfit I work for, Tom is me,LOL. Fact is we've sold the Leesburg fire outfit well over $20,000 worth of Stihl in the last couple of years. I make sure they are well taken care of. They get top priority over everyone due to what they use those machines for, saving lives. Some tree guys and landscapers may have a beef with our view but the fire company equipment comes before all others and thats the way it is and will remain. I recently picked up the Arlington fire company, thats all they're equipment you saw on the table. I'm after Fairfax next. Fairfax is the biggest fire company in the nation and once we get that were set. The chief of the Leesburg company knows all these other companies and he's the one referring them to me for all their equipment because I take good care of his outfit. Might say its the politics of fire companies, he's the lobbiest and I'm the supplier of good will,LOL

Ahh, I knew you were Tom didn't know that Perry was the outfit. That's nice, hope you get Fairfax.
