I was going to switch insurance companies and when the agent took pics of everything their corporate rep wanted to see the UL listing for the stove. It had none and this was bought new at Farm an Fleet.
The owners manual states the unit is certified under UL 391. There was likely a hang tag or other documentation at the time of purchase. You can download both the owners manual and UL 391 standard. Any insurance man worth-a-crap could have looked it up by model number.

It's a Clayton Model 1537G made by the United States Stove Company. Here is the online manual which has more than the one I got with the stove has.

Don't see any reference to a U.L. rating but could have missed it. This was a "like a good neighbor" company.

if anyone has a direct reference that this stove does a UL label I'd sure appreciate a link or source to that. So would the local agent!

There should be a ID tag on it that shows the UL certification, if there's not, that's where they likely "gotcha". Still worth a try though...

Well don't forget State Farm is the same company that didn't pay out claims during hurricane Katrina disaster and it was so heinous the Feds had to step in to force them to pay the claims .a Dirty crooked insurance group to fight people who lost everything they had in w disaster thinking they are atleast coveted for their property they had insured

I never like a furnace that had 2 blowers . Had one years ago nothing but a pain , put a tundra in this year an I know it has been really mild ,but so far wood burnt well under half of the smoke dragon . Got records on how much wood brunt per year going back to 09 , in 12 we had a real mild winter , but over the years nothing really change look at the record and it will be almost an sometimes is a year to the day when wood is brought in . Thinking, this could be the best chain saw ever
