My thoughts on this little thing.
Last chrissy I was gifted a little 4 inch thing... well, let's see how this holds up.
The charger lasted a few chargings, the motor got hot, and when I jury rigged it to charge the battery resulting in shorted cells, and that was that.
DONE.
However, it showed me that a little electric 4 inch saw has it's place in my life. Especially when it is freezing outside, and I found a few branches to cut up.
Inside, out of the elements. Nice!
Ok, so the cheap thing is dead. what is better? researched it a bit, and came up with the Inokraft thing.
brushless motor, actual oil system on it, 12 volt, and of coarse li-ion batteries.
ambidextrous. and plenty of power. Not as much as the other thing, but sufficient if it can keep running.
I built a large bin out of scrap lumber today, and used this little saw for a bunch of cuts. worked like a dream.
I know we are not saving the planet with zero emissions. It sure makes sense for little trim jobs.
