...but I have to rant - why oh why does everybody list T1 above cable? Sure I realise the upload speed is far greater being symmetrical, but I'm not using that UL by viewing AS, and my cable download speed _exceeds_ T1 speeds regularly.

OK I'm done. My old dialup was the equivalent of having the chain on backwards

You guys in here are killing me. What were are doing is looking at revamping the Chainsaw forum only (that is the reason it is not in "off the topic"), but am thinking the only thing to make the site better is too get rid of a few terds. Forget it Dennis, it is not worth making the site better. Just one winter ago, this place was still packed, but had a group a guys anyone would want to hang out with. Now its filled with a bunch of looney librals. Why? Why, is it so much different from a year ago. Are you guys starved? Are you guys off your medicine? It seems the cool thing this year is, who can be the biggest jerk. Well, lets start a new poll and that person will be voted off. It will be survivor of Arboristsite.com. Sorry no Today show appearances, but you will live in infany here. I can tell you guys another thing, if I sold the site, it would worse than it is now if you think we yank a lot of things. If you go to ************ you can't even turn around with out getting yanked. I think for a temporary time, it may be good to do what they do and get rid of who, I feel makes the site regress. Every single night, I have to listen to he said this to me and she said that to me. Grow up, people. Do you really fricken care?

Believe me he has. JPS and Treespyder can be found in trees near you. I know Brian, and I feel that he at least was kind enough to tell you all you need to know in his signature. See I find it at least respectful that he tells you a little about himself, before he lets you have it.

Alls I can say is in the six months I've been here I've enjoyed the heck outta this site. Its my homepage. I look here before I check my e-mail.

I should mention that I'm not oblivious to the fact that I have gone overboard on more than one occasion...

But you're right.

I've recieved a few PM's and Emails asking why I put my truck project up here. Well, I did it for a couple of reasons.

One, we all have trucks and someone might want to know what they'd be getting into with doing what I've done. So in that regard, it's relevant to the site (at least a little...)

And TWO...

I'm more than just "netree" the fat jolly rich eccentric arborist of ArboristSite. I have other interests besides trees, and I thought it'd be intersating to share them. Working on projects like that and ham radio happen to be a big part of who I am.

I was hoping to draw some other people into sharing their "other" interests. Nick posted a recipe... (a good one, too I might add)... maybe he enjoys cooking to unwind? Surely there's more to us than just working in trees and chatting on Arborist Site, eh?

At least I would hope so...

Yeah, let's make this a pro saw users only forum. Do I have to make money with my saws to qualify as a pro? Fishy sells saws, so I guess that makes him a pro. I'm going to charge my neighbor for cutting an ice damaged branch off his tree rather than do it for free. The branch is 7 feet long and 2 inches in diameter. I will use my pro Husky saw. I will charge him $10. I will get a notarized recipt from him and send a copy to Darin and another to the IRS. I want to keep posting on the Pro Chainsaw Forum. I like chainsaws and Fishy.

Brian knows that I don't condone many of the things that he does. I was actually throwing a pun out, to show that many (I mean a butt load) do not like Brian. In the last month Brian has become increasingly more forward with people and many are very turned off by this. I have emailed him several times and doesn't seem to listen. So what's up Brian?
