Hello All,
I have worked most blue collared jobs, and I have a BA in English/Environmental Science. I was lucky to spend years in the Arctic of Greenland as an expedition leader, and got to see a lot of mind blowing ecology. Currently I work for a city that requires an Arborist certification for promotion. I am currently a Crew Leader with experience of years of storm debris clearing, and chainsaw/polesaw work on the ground. They then throw the arborist book at me, and say pay $500 to take the test. Is there any college/workshop event, or weekend intensive courses out there that I can utilize my remaining GI Bill to obtain the Arborist Certification? Thanks.
