Not warm here in the least, 40F this morning when I woke up for work at 0445, and about 64F during the day. Two weeks ago it was high 80Fs, go figure. That's Alberta for you, if you do not like the weather, wait five minutes.

Oh well, at least the forest fires are out, Last Thurs am at about 0200 I woke up thinking the apartment was on fire it was so smoky. Huge amount of ash fallout all over town.

Oh to be back in Alberta...or anyplace much further north of here...getting on to my favorite time of the year around here...NOT!!! I'd never thought I'd say winter is my favorite time of the year till I moved here...It will/can never get to cold here...

It was gray and chilly this morning, don't know what the actual temp is. the &^$#*9 squirrels knocked down my thermometer. I actually just made a small fire in the stove, and had one going yesterday as well.

hey jumper isnt that what they say about about Nova Scotia? been there and have seen some strange weather patterns. the wind!! in the winter you can actually here it and it sounds like its going a 100 mph right over your head! just howling on through. (or 160kph for you from the 'Nada.)

oh ya, dont ever go topdeck of the ferry crossing over to Newfoundland in a early march storm at night. possibly one of the scariest moments of my life. i'll admit that. felt like "deadliest catch". (or whatever the name of that show is)

anyway its overcast here.

Just cooled off here yesterday from 90's to 70's, getting some T-storms. It's so stinking humid here that I still soak (I mean wringing wet) 3 or 4 shirts a day.

Real near the century mark today was doing some maintenance on my bucket got hot will have to finish in the mourning. Bad news going to have to replace leveling cables soon One had a broken strand from the sheath plastic being gone was cleaning up to glue it in the sheath groove and cleaned up cables one strand had a break! Going to order new ones and be careful until they get here at least drive cable good! Man it is always something guess thats why we do it

Way to hot for here 90 -95 all week hope it cool's off soon to hot:chainsawguy: :chainsawguy:

Drought Situation in Dixie

Unseasonably hot and extremely dry here. The jet stream has shifted north creating our situation. One good thing about this is fewer tornadoes and such. As it is now we are more likely to see results of hurricanes from the east.

Summer is delayed....

Its only topping high 70's at the moment, but the humidity is cranking as usual 80%+

Poincianas are only just coming into leaf and no flowers in sight! Usually they are blooming by now.

Good news is the water temp is still below 80 degrees, hope that trend continues as it will help keep the hurricanes away!

Too hot here: 90-95 with 90% humidity! Just got some rain, so I suppose the humidity will go higher. We start at 7AM and finish by Noon. Jobs fall wayyyy off when it's really hot here. I'm starting to think about what else I might like to do from July 1st through September.

Hot and muggy here- 90's+ with a higher heat index and air qualiy warning. I was flying in from the NEC TCC last week and the clouds had a distinctive brown tint to them. The current drought conditions (less than 90 100ths of an inch inthe past two months and at least 15 inches down for the years) in addition to the late freeze is putting great stress on the trees strored energy.
