I guess whats bothering me is all that crap that went down with OD.

I feel like I may be inadvertently responsible for it, sinse he told me I was the reason he went after that S&M ####.

I'm a little pissed about the way TV started jumping at me when he didnt even know what the #### he was talking about too.

The whole deal has me thinking that maybe I'm the one that should just leave.

I don't think ( from the way I read it at least ) that TV was coming at you. I think that debacle was just an effed up communication. Something that was supposed to be sarcastic gotten taken serious, yadda yadda yadda.

As far as SOM goes, I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because he's helped me out before and we all know OD can be a little too hard on the part timers but once he put that #### in his sig and started logging on under a different name ( I mean, c'mon that's just childish, stupid #### ) I got sick of his antics right quick.

It didn't appear to me that you were at fault for anything and that would suck if you decided to leave too. Not enough old school guys with grit around here as it is. I think OD's head is at a bit different place right now, and like he said, he didn't think his posts were really reflecting who he is. He seriously lost it before that thread closed down. lol Let's just hope he realized it and didn't go kick Cape's lily ass. Cape doesn't strike me as the type to take a beating and admit he deserved it, he'd call mommy in a second if you know what I mean.

Whatever, it's over now, and I hope OD didn't get banned or too pissed off that he'll never come back but I think he realized he needed some time off and I'd be one to agree with him on that.

I'm just a bit irritated at some of the responses OD recieved. I dont think some of those people realize how much he contributed around here.

Figures I was out working all weekend, or I would have said more on the subject.

I actually thought it was pretty funny the way cape was workin on oldirty. lol. He might live to regret that move however. lol.

I was supposed to go to work for a guy I sub for today and after last nites snow he sounded like he was going to cry. Its kinda sad , I dont know how to motavate him. I just hope he shows up for me tomorrow, cuz I gotta a brush clearing booked.

Getting real slow here too. Did some charity work at my favorite non profit just to keep the guys working today. Have about 1/2 day of work left to do then we are pretty much out of work till it dries up or the phone starts ringing. Everything is all fixed and ready to go, Just the wood body on the fuso to build once it gets back from inspection..... Mike

You know, since last winter my house and office and parking lot and shop ( I am just buliding up the excuse here but it was bad) it really threw my year off. To make a long story short I don't have the deduction for charity ( which is a few thousand... talk about building something up!) for the taxes.
That is not the only reason I do charity work of course and you have to believe me there. Hell, I remember one year freezing my ass off getting this broken locust down for the nature center plus the loads of wood for thier maple syrup stoves.
Well that is a good idea and thanks. I will send the kid over at the center an email to see if they need any work done... then get Plas up here to do it for free!

stubborn school maybe.I may have just got it from having to learn a lot on my own.No biggie.

I know I have cabin fever.I turned 40 in Nov.This is the first time in my life I didn't like winter.I cannot wait until it's over.I need to get back to tree work for my sanity.I got out of wrenching for a reason,it bores the crap out of me.
