Was yours worded the same way?

Yeah. He's stressing there are some oem and some aftermarket parts. Idc if it's OEM or not, I just wanna make sure it'll last. Was yours worded the same way?
Right seller, but the saw is a bit different. You know they sell Chineseium, or just guessing?
Tfw ur philosophy means u can't by an MS500i when they come out. Thanks for this. I've pretty much stopped buying any older saws like this. Especially anything out of New Hampshire forest. Too many guys spending quality money on covers and decals just to pull a fast one on Joe Loggerman. Guess I'll stick to Stihls ending in a 1 or 2.
Here it is. I don't currently have the torx to get to the engine. Also, for what reason would he plug the decomp valve. Can I install a new valve without compromising something?I fixed the link. The Meteor topend adds value and as stated earlier, the seller builds a nice saw.
Idk. This is a bit concerning. Wouldn't engage then got caught on the muffler and cracked after I broke it free. It's in your hands, what do YOU think of it? I myself am wondering what happened to the saw in the 1st pictures of this post.
I don't get it. Did he not say it was a meteor piston and cylinder? Did he not say there was aftermarket parts? How did you not know what you were buying? Not trying to start any thing. Just want to know.
Thoughts on the internals? The issue is "refurbed" vs 97% aftermarket. I think most people would agree that a refurbed saw should at least have a stihl crankcase... something should be Stihl besides a recoil to qualify as as "refurbed" saw.
This. Very misleading ad. I dont care how well this seller can assemble a saw, this isnt worth half of the price paid. The issue is "refurbed" vs 97% aftermarket. The first line in his description claims it is an ms660. Aftermarket case, tank, most likely crank, top end, muffler, brake handle among other things to me makes it NOT a refurbed stihl saw, but an assembled chinese turkey. If it does t have a stihl serial number its not a stihl saw, period. Maybe you should buy it from the OP lol.I see an add like that and the first thought I have is that it is gonna be mostly Chinese. If you read ebay's definition of refurbished it says nothing about oem parts.
