I love science, can you please explain to me how this happens?

Dan, he may have overstated things a bit, but hes not as far off base as the above statement.

If Your statement were valid.......

Your car would never dry after a rain, nor would your yard, and you would die of heat exhaustion on even a mild day.

I believe you are confusing the % of water weight in the wood with the amount of relitave humidity in the air.

Here's what I wrote.
I do it the old fashion way. Cover top and let it sit for a year. I think most people that do firewood on large scale just leave it to the weather in a big pile. Correct me if I'm wrong

I don't see anything relating to humidity or a sealed container?? do you. In the future you better whatch who you attack and make sure it the right guy!!!

Hey Brush hog I never responded to your posts, so stop smoking whatever it is you are smoking, and don't send me these personal e-mails!:chainsaw:

I'm saying the environment humidity will ALWAYS influence the speed at which wood dries, no matter what you have for a contraption. And yes, I know moisure content of a solid is different than RH of a gas.

Changed my settings in user cp.I guess everytime someone post to a subject I did I get an e-mail. It looked like you sent it to me that's why I sent you one back. Simple misunderstanding. By the way I'm not smoking ANYTHING!!!!!!!
