IS this the correct advice taking down Widow makers on a hill [cut leaners hangups]

Does this guy know what the f he is talking about on his advice or teqnique in safely getting these trees on the ground? It seems using heavy equipment would be the right answer, but I reckon that is not always available...What do the pros have to say on his advice? What would you do differently? He doesn't seem very knowledgeable IMHO, but I could be wrong.
