the twice tie in is key like you said, but my point is you can have your anchor aspect hidden or partially hidden and sever it. Like you I make cuts all the time on the way up. My SRT is the wraptor line. Often I situate the 2 aspects on my big shot throw afterwards so I have the choice which one is best to use. This leaves the anchor near the trunk (either way) and if you are like me, you like to work quick. Also with me I have so many years without an anchor that I have come close to cutting the anchor quite a few times. No death or injury if lanyarded but sometimes....just sayin. Most would admit to not a hundred percent on the redundant tie in. I do.

ps. I also (sort of) srt down at times when I situate the Wraptor in a great spot and after getting there I just climb off the wraptor and then lower it myself after the cuts.
