Jonsered 2171 Flywheel

Hello. Im putting my 2171 back together from a complete tear down. My question is about the flywheel, when putting it back on I notice their is a little bit of play both ways once it’s on the shaft. I was wondering should I put it in a specific location within the play then tighten? It’s not a lot of play but enough where it seems like it may effect things (maybe not I dunno). The built in key on the flywheel is in good shape so I know that’s good to go. Thanks.

I would rotate the flywheel towards the counter-clockwise direction before tightening the nut. That way you will have the timing slightly advanced.
