Well hell. What was all the fuss about all these years? Lol
In all honesty, I think the troll probably has had this info in front of him for 20 years and never wanted us "tinkering types" to figure it out.:hi::laughing:
The site needs to have one more emoji that reads "THIS TOPIC WOULD HAVE BEEN TOTALLY WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS".

Got a chance to run a couple tanks through it today. Pulled really well after I turned the main in another half turn.

Probably get even a little stronger as the ring wears in. Funny the way this worked out.....never really looked at the 625 much..... I have a stock 61 Husky that was my only saw once.....practically the same saw as the 625.....bought it near new...original chain and thought it ran OK until I got hold of a 630 SuperII and ported that...never looked back to the open port motors.....so didn't know that the 625 and 630 covers were different.....looked the same.....if you don't put them side by side....this info is going to resurrect a plan that got backburnered a while back!!!

Glad you found your problem and glad you posted his thread........this site is slowly regaining some of what it lost in the hack.....to bad most of the old pics are lost.........
