That Sugar Creek Decal outfit that Chris linked to, now says they do bar decals. I don't know how they hold up or anything about them...maybe it's just for collectors. But nothing like a big fat JONSEREDS on your bar! They're rebadged anyway, so it doesn't matter to me who made the bar. Hell, I think just the stencil would be cool and I'll paint it myself...lol

I found this interesting. I was cleaning a "Jonsereds" labeled bar and the "s" flaked off and you can see the "IK" from Sandvik underneath. I always knew about rebadged bars, but never thought they went through the trouble of painting them twice.

Hmmm......My 49 came new with a Sandvik......don't think it was rebadged to Jonsereds......if I remember correctly it just said Sandvik.....but it certainly looks like that one was repainted.......maybe had a bunch of Sandvik bars ready to ship when the order came from Jonsereds.....May well be Tiltons did it on this end.........

The stencils are a peel and stick and you paint the bar. Most of the older ones were silk screened. I suspect the only paint that would hold up for long would be a polyester powder coat. It would be good to know if anyone has found something that is readily available to homeowners that does stand up.

Oh hell ya...I'd love to try it with a good paint! My eyes were always automatically drawn to a big, fat JONSEREDS on a bar.

I've seen several like the one pictured below. I figured this Jonsereds labeled bar was a Sandvik because they both have the sprocket painted on the tip.

LOL.....Rosanna Rosanna Danna and the Flea Erections....

My youngest son now lives in Brooklyn and he says there aren't characters there like that anymore. I told him he's either blind or not looking.

Sometime last yr the authorities found an Egyptian sarcophagus with tomb artifact in a garage, in Brooklyn.....where else in the US would that happen? We had a guy from Brooklyn named Bobby on our car forum that angered his GF and she threw acid on his car. Henceforth we referred to him as 'Bobby and his acid throwing girlfriend.'

I looked again and it ended @$106 I think. Snipe bid? I don't know how that goes.

Snipe bids are merely a paid service in which you enter your max bid and 'enhancements' if you so choose. 'Enhancements' are so you don't lose out by just a couple of bucks....they cost extra though. The whole premise being that you can't trust eBay to enter your bids in time to win in the last minute or so of most well trafficked auctions. Snipes work like they are supposed to about 95% of the time if you choose a reputable outfit to bid for you. Trouble now is that it's often snipe against snipe....which brings in the 5% that don't work. Plus, you'll have no idea what went wrong when it's snipe against snipe/enhancement against enhancement, for the most part. It then becomes a contest of server against server...software against software. I like to picture Tron characters fighting it out.....

i started going through a jonsered 625 ll i've had for awhile, i swear it ran when i got it. but i can't find a spark now. checked all wires for continuity got a fresh plug, cleaned the contact surfaces on the crankcase and coil, re-set the air gap, but still no spark even when run up with my cordless drill.
are there other husky coils that will work ? i saw somewhere a husky 61 coil would work. what about the china coils i see on ebay ? anyone have experience with them? any help appreciated.
