I guess I'm with you Mr. Woodie. I've had just about every saw (manufacturer) known. I really like my 2171. It is the best firewood saw I have ever owned (we have 3 of them).

You see there, Ultra? That there's a man of class! A man of dsitinction! A man of good judgement!!

There sure are a lot of us types in Michigan! :D :D :D

(I'll rep ya as soon as my reperator reloads, abo!)

I don't care woodie I still like my GMC better than your Ford.....

The way I see THAT is you could have saved yourself the money by buying a Chevy and just putting the lockwashers on yourself.

Or been really smart and just bought a Ford...

:D

The easy way to get the exhaust away from the operator's right hand, is just to bend the out the scoop over the exhaust outlet, and then it's not blowing up....
QUOTE]

Good idea, but that stock port behind the deflector is tiny..add a 2nd port for real power, then there's no need to bend that deflector out.

There's no tiny stock port on my 2135T :D

I know this might seem like a loaded question ,but why don't tree crews run stihl more? There are plenty of loggers that use them right? Lots of firewood guys use them, so why don't they get used by tree crews more. Woodie is right I can't think of a time I have seen Stihls being used on the ground. Don't give me that This brand is better than that brand crap. We all know there are many great saw manufactures and its mostly just what the operator likes, but what is it with the tree crews. Is it a price thing?

Being one of those tree crews pros I will answer by saying
husky's kick they flat kick azz on the ground.

bought my 334T 1 year ago.
Had to take it in for repair once.
Reason: to have re-tuned after brake in.
Had troubles with the 335's in the past myself. Not with this saw!
Love it.
(p.s. for wood the size that's being cut in the video of this thread,I don't like to use small saws period.I've either started with a larger saw,or call one up when cutting this size. The 200t didn't change my mind about this either. Sorry 200t fans lol )

Maybe...but so far, I've noticed no difference in how buildup occurs on the filter, or the rate.
.....

Obviously the "Air Injection" doesn't work as well in these horisontal engine saws, as in the larger vertical engine ones, as the fan can't blow the dust and chips past the engine and out of the saw in the same way. ;)
