Thanks, Glen.

That was going to be my next search. I'm also going check the bar that came with the recently arrived 90--might tell something, or nothing. Maybe the incorrect bar explains why the chain catcher has been sheared off!

KW-got the vent screw yesterday in good shape. probably won't have a chance to try getting it installed until after Fri. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks again!!

Glad it arrived okay.

Give an update when you get your 670 back in action. Also see that you received/picked-up the 820. Careful that you don't turn into a chainsaw junkie:D !

Chainsaw Junkie??

TOO LATE!! But thanks for warning me
I also had to use some shop towel in the vent screw instead of the little disk since it wasn't getting any air exchange. But now the dang thing won't run worth a hoot. I'm going to get my mechanic to take a look at it-might just be a carb adjustment(and all I do is mess 'em up when I try to :dizzy: ).
Talked to the guy that I got the 820 from. He's in AZ and is a Husky/Jon dealer. If you're having problems getting parts let me know and I'll get you in touch with him. I broke the throttle assmbly on my other 630 and he's sending me one-even had it in stock.

It never hurts to have more sources for parts.

Send me an email or PM if you don't mind; my local so called Jred shop s*cks. Chances are good that I'm going to need something sooner or later. Once I get the 90 sorted, I hope to get the 670 Champ parts saw running, & maybe the other 90 (real good compression, nearly complete)....but I'm getting too far ahead of myself. Stihl need to work on the 011, 009, & the 025. What's the magic # of saws--that you don't need/use--for being a chainsaw junkie? Too late!!

Chris J.

I wanted add this--I going to call Bailey's when I have another list put together. Feel like I need to support the sponsors who help to support AS. May sound corny, but I make a great corn chowder!
