Well I called my local Stihl dealer today and he said they have a "no questions asked 7 day full money back quarantee". Well I don't know where the fishhooks are in that offer buts its inticing enough. Thinkin about trying a ms660. Dealer said I need at least an ms460 to equal the SuperXL I'm currently using and be sure I won't be dissapointed. I'm wanting something that will easily handle a 24" bar and possibly a 30" down the road so I'm just going to jump up a bit. Something that will really sink into a 2foot log with ease. Past experience says that size cutting can be a bit time consuming.
Does anyone here bother with the bigger stuff for firewood or does it become a hobby for most any saw. I've notice the tree companies try to limit their time spent on the bigger but logs as they usually come after them with the grapple truck rather than cut them into managable lengths.
