High winds last nite and an old friend called me to help with fallen trees/branches. I'm not going to drive 11 hrs, i'm stacked up anyway. Anyone in the area that could help ?

I went to school at LaSalle Peru High School and played football (155 lb starting linebacker), basketball and golf there in mid sixties. Went back to visit while nearby there a few years ago and like the town was in a time warp. Even went in the front of the hs. Everything still the Same.
Lots and lots of bars in that town. Was deeply in love with a beautiful Italian girl from Cedar Point named Judy Galetti. Won the junior club championship at the country club the 2 years I lived there. My dad was Pres. and general manager of the local mainstay Corp. Wesclox/General Time which we saw was a ghost town of a plant now. Very very nostalgic. Got in hundreds of fights there and had mass parties (one big orgy that was busted and in the newspaper and court after football season).
What a neat place to live back then. Who cares?.....I do....Thanks for the memory with this town on the board.

Hehehe, I was born and bread in the Valley....same memories. I used to hit Mokes Tap in Cedar Point myself. Ahhhh....corn fed.
