the chinese have gotten into nearly everything, but the quality tools and parts that are not made in us usually come from italy, AR pump is prime example, Japan, Tiwan has been making quality milling machines for decades now, Hopefully trump can help bring some more of the market(factories) back home to us. I would much rather buy quality aftermarket pistons, rings, and cylinders made in USA. It is not like deciding to buy NGK plugs online vs at local store

Meteor,Hyway, Cross, Tacomec, nonameChineses, then it's a toss up between a Dog Turd, and a Golf brand piston.

I'm pretty sure they encourage on the job drinking at Golf. -Expecially the guys who design and install ring the locator pins.

Does anyone know who makes the l'il red barn branded pistons?
They seem ok too.
LRB told me their pop up pistons are made in India

Ive had no problem with meteor. What I will say is there is an argument for replacing piston and cylinder as a pair from the same brand at the same time, that way they aren't worn and are designed to fit. Ive had issues trying to use aftermarket pistons and rings on worn cylinders.
