The whole time I was reading this thread I was thinking about your groundie! I'm a tree worker and do it all from dragging and chippin to climbing and topping! Sounds like the make or break on this job will be the groundie! I've gotten pretty good at running the speed line on the ground and I do mean RUNNING, a good climber can bury one ground guy pretty quick! Just last weekend I was catching big limbs out of a pondo and a couple missed the gutter by inches!!!
I got kudos from the climber at the end of that job. We were cuttin it close and got away unscathed! Gutters are cheap compared to sat. Dishes! Best of luck! I'm in Oregon if ya get desperate...

If at all possible pick a route that doesn't threaten that damn dish, or move it!!!

I'd rather drag brush 100' than buy a new sat dish!!! And mess up my reputation!
