I caught another thread about prices where someone said 'raise the price until no one buys it". I don't really understand that theory.
There are alot of people out there that won't buy something just because its cheap. Sounds dumb but let me tell you an experience we had selling some Christmas trees. We had a handful of nice 7'-8' Red Pine, the last ones on the farm and thought we would put them on the lot and clearance price them out at $20 just to move them. 2 weeks through the season and we couldn't give one away. We decided for a stroke, to put an expensive price on them and see what happened. Changed the price to $55 with the sales pitch that they were the last that were available. Sold them all in 2 days. Why? They figure there must be something wrong with them just because it was cheaper.
People are strange animals.
