Steve, I know this shop out hear that sell sky-prunners. 5-6-10-12-14-&16 feet in length. Hes makes a decent living off them.He only wishes he could ship them.We used them when & before the tree trade fell apart out hear. They were on every truck. A must.
 
I know a guy who does a lot of pickpruning and uses the ARS pruner that holds onto the cut branch. Saves a lot of time in not having to pull put the hangers.

He has this line of linden (cordata) that were hacked and sheared a number of years back. An instructor at MATC had the account for a number of years (he is the one who restored it form the shearing) and it passed trough several hands till my buddy got it form the last. 15 of them 20 ft high in a big driveway island. Takes about a week to do.
